ASSETS Lancaster Program

For decades there has been a need to level the economic playing field for the low income people in Lancaster County. ASSETS Lancaster opens the door for many individuals who dream of owning their own business and achieving economic self sufficiency for themselves and their families.

ASSETS Lancaster is uniquely positioned to assist individuals through our continuum of service that includes training, mentoring, incubator services, and the ASSETS Alumni Community. The continuum of service ASSETS provides is critical to the continuing success of our graduates.

The ASSETS training center is a 13 week program that teaches the concepts of being a business entrepreneur, from defining their business idea to establishing their business. The course is taught by volunteers who are successful businesspeople who share their knowledge and bring their real world experiences to the classroom for the ASSETS students. Graduates are equipped with the business design and knowledge of operating and maintaining their business.
